Well, I am above the fray now and worthless to talk to about such things. I have adopted the Way, become enlightened and now have no desires. The zero trace is now my scope and no more roller coasters.
You cannot wave the sausage before the noseless d0g. Temptation and seduction now roll off me like so much water off a salamander.
The Way is not for every man. Be glad that you feel more than the husk of emotion. That love claws can still find purchase upon you.
For me it is all warm milk and early bed times.

A large shadow traverses the square... and strong talons grip a steel perch.
The Love Vulture has landed and glares at his quaking audience. His power can take over and form in any time, any place. To torment the afflicted. He is so obvious in his methods because he has successfully fed upon generation after generation of young, hopeful hearts. His belly so full that most he simply dashes against his temple walls.

She has a job. Her business is fantasy. If she is dedicated she works hard to make a custom fantasy come to life for you.
We lie too. If we try to make the fantasy more intense.
It's all in fun. You can see past it and treat each other well. It is possible. It is possible to hold onto your wallet just like you do when tempted by cakes, and clothing, and cars which are sold by aggressive marketing.
This is a little different because you often are trying to immerse yourself in the fantasy. It is not as easy to be direct and say that. See I am breaking out of that mode right now.
Just trying to be real for a moment and to be kind. You can be both.

He was the Love Vulture with talons and everything...
They met in the arcade as she asked him for change for a bill. She wanted coins for the old school video machines.
He growled quietly as he noticed the bill was a 20. She was beautiful but clearly a p0wder pufff. No callouses on those hands. He decided he would match her with a crocodile hunter, from Australia.
He turned around to face her with his talons clenched. After scrounging around in the register. He worked here part time to "stay in the field".
"Here you go!" he screed and flung her change all over the floor. He gave a full bellied laugh as he watched her crawling around picking up each coin.
He shot her with the love dart in the ass. After inspecting it a bit. Then flew to the Outback to tag the crocodile hunter.
Would they really meet and mate? You bet! Fate is even crueler than the Love Vulture. And they are in cahoots!
